Social Networking
There are plenty of social networking apps so it's a question of which one to use. Social networking depends on having friends and it will take time to see which app dominates.
The Facebook app is slicker than the Facebook website but is essentially the same. The app is free, has a nice interface, and performs well. If we had to choose between them, we would take the app.
The Facebook app does not use location services to find friends who are nearby. It's surprising because that would be a great reason to use a social networking app instead of a website. But considering the problems they've had over privacy issues, it may have been too risky. Chances are they will add that feature in the future.
