Search Tools

A search tool in iPhones, iPads, and iPod Touches searches apps, e-mails, song names, notes, and calendars. There are also apps to search the App Store, iTunes, and internet.

 

Search Tool on iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch

Push the Home button twice and you'll go to the built-in search tool. The search tool page is to the left of the first apps page. You can also swipe the screen to get there.

Applications that store data can make the data available to the search tool, much like the Contacts, Mail, and Calendar apps.

If you buy an app and it does not expose the data but you think it should, contact the seller and request that feature. You will be helping them to make a better app for everyone's benefit.
